On September 25, 2026 in Astrakhan, CPC handed over a modern, comfortable bus for the children of the Ostrovok (‘Small Island’) social rehabilitation center for minors. The vehicle keys were presented on the stage of the Astrakhan State Opera and Ballet Theatre during the gala concert featuring the winners of the in-person regional stage of the ‘CPC for Talented Children’ festival. Mikhail Grishankov, Deputy General Director, RF Government Relations, Anton Gudimenko, Minister of Social Development and Labor of the Astrakhan Region and the leadership of the Ostrovok Center took part in the ceremony.
The bus, based on the GAZelle Next chassis, is designed to transport 17 people, including an attendant. The passenger vehicle designed for transporting children is equipped with a full set of safety features: ERA-GLONASS emergency response system, automatic back-up alarm system, car door open sensors preventing vehicle from moving if the doors are not fully closed, and others.
Currently, the center is home to 32 children who have been left without parental care or find themselves in difficult life circumstances. A completed charitable project helped a public institution address the issue of transporting children to various medical centers in the Astrakhan region for timely examinations by single-discipline specialists. Previously the center did not have a bus - for these purposes the personal vehicles of staff members were to be used and cars belonging to concerned fellow villagers. The availability of new vehicle will significantly simplify the logistics of organizing field trips for children, as well as visits to cultural and sports events at the district and regional levels.
On that day, the center’s children also received gifts containing sweets and the board game ‘CPC-poly’ from CPC. Designed for older children, it introduces the operations of an oil pipeline transport company through a game-based approach.
The international Consortium has been cooperating with the Astrakhan Region for over 20 years. Currently this cooperation is accomplished within the framework of a five-year Agreement signed in June 2024. The Company provides significant support to social projects in areas such as culture, education, healthcare, public transport, and sports, and also implements assistance programs for the most vulnerable population groups.
In 2024 alone, CPC allocated over 144,1 million rubles for charity purposes in the Region. In 2025 – 150,6 million rubles. Throughout the period of cooperation between the Company and the region, CPC has invested over 1,7 billion rubles in charitable projects within the Astrakhan Region.
