CPC to Talented Children Contest Results Were Announced in Stavropol Krai

stavropol.jpgOn October 07, 2026 the Stavropol Krai Children's Art Center hosted the gala concert of the ‘2026 CPC to Talented Children’ art contest for children and youth. The concert program concluded with an awards ceremony for the winners and honorees of the third regional round of the competition. The participants of the upcoming Inclusive Cultural Forum in Moscow to be held on November 30, 2026, were also announced.

The theme of the gala was linked to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia that had been announced in the Russian Federation, and to the 30th anniversary of CPC. The concert was held with the motto ‘Art Unites Us’. Imran Aidamirov, the Stavropol Krai Minister of Energy, Industry and Communications, Maria Smagina, the Stavropol Krai Minister of Education and other officials attended the event.

In the run-up to the gala, on October 5-6, master classes were held for the young contestants who, this year, represented 50 settlements of the Stavropol Krai.  The attendees studied main vectors of vocal performance, completed tasks to develop creative thinking and improvisation skills. They were given cues on how to match text and musical beats, and improved their artistic skills when performing recitals of literary texts of various genres.

For nearly 30 years, the CPC for Talented Children contest has served as a launch pad for young talent, inspiring and uniting children, educators, parents, and creative groups from across the country. Every year more than 20 thousand children and teenagers take part in it - schoolchildren and members of vocal and dance ensembles, theater studios, media labs and creative groups. Caspian Pipeline Consortium sees its long-term charity project as an investment to the future and its contribution to creative development of the younger generation.

During the first stage, the jury members reviewed 5.3 thousand video submissions from five Russian regions. For the first time, in addition to professional experts, the contest participants were also scored by the audience. An online ‘Audience Choice Award’ vote was rolled out in every nomination. About 2.8 thousand performances across six nominations have advanced to the second round of the contest. Sixty-four entries of the second round were awarded the Grand Prix.
