On October 17, 2026, a grand gala concert of the “CPC for Talented Children 2026” children and youth creativity contest was held on the stage of the Novorossiysk Marine Cultural Center. The theme of the gala was linked to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia that had been announced in the Russian Federation and to the CPC 30th anniversary. The concert was held with the motto ‘Art Unites Us’.
Andrey Antonov, Head of the City Duma of the Hero-City of Novorossiysk Municipality, Sergey Sheptiy, Head of Culture Department, and other officials attended the event as honored guests. The concert program concluded with an awards ceremony for the winners and honorees of the third regional round of the contest. The participants of the upcoming Inclusive Cultural Forum in Moscow to be held on November 30, 2026, were also announced.
The young contestants took part in workshops held on October 15–16, on the eve of the gala concert. The participants studied dance combinations, did exercises to develop creative thinking, practiced their jazz dance technique, developed their acting skills, honed polyphonic singing skills, and learned new means of expression at piano and wind instruments classes.
For nearly 30 years, the “CPC for Talented Children” contest has served as a launch pad for young talent, inspiring and uniting children, educators, parents, and creative groups from across the country. Every year, the event attracts more than 20 thousand children and teenagers – school students and members of vocal and dance ensembles, drama schools, media labs, and creative groups. Caspian Pipeline Consortium views its long-standing charitable project as an investment in the future and a contribution to the creative development of the younger generation.
During the first stage, the jury members reviewed 5,300 video submissions from five Russian regions. For the first time, the audience voted for festival participants alongside the professional experts. The “Audience Choice Award” online voting was rolled out for each category. About 2,800 entries across six nominations have advanced to the second round of the contest. Sixty-four second round entries were awarded the Grand Prix.
