Caspian Pipeline Consortium-K has 4 industrial facilities located in the Atyrau Region in the Republic of Kazakhstan: Tengiz PS, Atyrau PS, Isatay PS, and Kurmangazy PS.
By his decree, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kazakhstan, has introduced a state of emergency in the Atyrau Region effective from 20:30, January 5, 2022, till 00:00, January 19, 2022.
The state of emergency is introduced in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan to ensure the safety of the population, to restore the rule of law and order and to protect citizens’ rights and freedoms.
We therefore inform your that all CPC-K facilities are operating normally without incident under the state of emergency in the region.
The CPC Pipeline System is one of CIS largest energy investment projects that involves foreign capital. The length of the Tengiz – Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km. This route moves over two thirds of all Kazakhstan export oil along with crude from Russian fields including those in the Caspian region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM), allowing tankers to be loaded safely at significant distance offshore, including in poor weather conditions
