On 21 February 2022, CPC General Director Nikolay Gorban and Novorossiysk Mayor Andrei Kravchenko signed a Cooperation Agreement between CPC and the municipal entity. The new five-year agreement came to replace a similar agreement of 2017. According to it, CPC will continue supporting a number of socially-significant spheres in the city's life: healthcare, education, culture, children’s sport, as well as provision of targeted aid to the most vulnerable groups of population.
Let us note that the selection of projects and programs for every year is formed taking into account the City Administration’s request followed by approval in CPC. A multi-year practice shows the effectiveness of this model of cooperation, which is also welcome by all shareholders of the consortium.
Traditionally, in the sphere of healthcare, the Consortium is oriented towards acquisition for city healthcare institutions of a broad spectrum of high-tech equipment, construction of medical and obstetrical stations and general practice doctors’ offices. In the sphere of supporting children’s sports, the major areas are the construction and refurbishment of sports facilities, furnishing them with modern equipment, purchase of vehicles for children's sports schools. The implementation of traditional programs will continue: “CPC for first-graders”, “New Year and X-mas holidays with CPC”, the CPC for talented children creative competition.
On the same day, CPC General Director Nikolay Gorban and the city’s mayor Andrey Kravchenko handed over charity certificates for various equipment to heads of medical and educational institutions. The city children's catering combine, the secondary schools No 30, No 31 and No 32 received new equipment for food production areas. Modern medical devices (surgical, anesthetic, resuscitation, diagnostic and other) were purchased for the perinatal and clinical/diagnostic centers, the city hospital No 1 and the city infectious diseases hospital No 3, the polyclinic No 2. In addition, keys for special vehicles were received by employees of the Novorossiysk public amenities center.
The total value of the equipment handed over today amounted to about 54 million rubles. In total, in 2021, Caspian Pipeline Consortium allocated for execution of charity projects and programs in Novorossiysk over 100 mln rubles.
