A New School Stadium Opened in the Village of Artesian in Kalmykia

20220524.jpgOn May 24, 2022, a stadium was opened in the Kalmyk village of Artesian in the yard of the secondary school named after Z.N. Bosschaeva. The ceremony was attended by Andrey Chidzhiev, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Kalmykia, Mingiyan Batnasunov, CPC-R Representative, Government Relations, Republic of Kalmykia, and heads of Chernozemelsky District Municipality, Republic of Kalmykia.

Caspian Pipeline Consortium allocated about RUB 11.4 million for this charity project to construct and equip the facility.

Created from scratch, the stadium has a soccer field with artificial grass, a basketball and volleyball court with an injury-free surface, and an area for outdoor exercises. The equipment of the latter includes outdoor exercise equipment "top pull", "chest press", "twister", "bars", a horizontal bar triple and other outdoor sports complexes.

Speakers at the stadium opening ceremony noted that CPC cooperation with the school named after Z.N. Bocheyeva has lasted for more than a year. For instance, in early 2019, Consortium built a building for its elementary school. The cost of this project, including design, construction, furniture and equipment, amounted to RUR 61.2 million.

During the whole period of operation of the pipeline system, CPC spent more than RUR 1 billion on charity projects in the Republic of Kalmykia.

The CPC Pipeline System is one of CIS largest energy investment projects that involves foreign capital. The length of the Tengiz – Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km. This route moves over two thirds of all Kazakhstan export oil along with crude from Russian fields including those in the Caspian region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM), allowing tankers to be loaded safely at significant distance offshore, including in poor weather conditions
