Meeting of KTO and CPC CEOs

A working meeting between CPC General Director Nikolay Gorban and Talgat Kurmanbayev, Chairman of the Board of KazTransOil, was held on 25 May 2022 in Nur-Sultan, the capital of Kazakhstan. In the course of their conversation, the parties discussed the Companies’ cooperation in energy resources transport, best practices sharing, including in health, safety and environmental protection.

CPC and KazTransOil cooperation goes back more than 20 years: the Kazakhstani Company's specialists took direct participation in construction of the Tengiz-Novorossiysk export pipeline system. In addition, in 2001, to provide an access to the Shippers to CPC crude pipeline KazTransOil put into operation additional facilities at its Atyrau Pump Station, with the help of which the CPC system began to transship raw hydrocarbons delivered by Uzen-Atyrau, Kenkiyak-Atyrau and Martyshi-Atyrau crude pipelines and by the railroad.

The Company is currently providing services on maintenance, repair and emergency response at CPC crude pipeline system facilities in the Republic of Kazakhstan under the 2018-2023 contract. KazTransOil maintains 466 km of the Consortium’s trunk oil pipeline. KTO specialists also provide maintenance at four PSs in CPC Eastern Region.
