CPC guarantees efficient and environmentally safe movement of crude oil

Meeting With Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Yerulan Zhamaubayev, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, had a meeting with CPC General Director Nikolay Gorban on 25 May 2022 in Nur-Sultan.

In the course of the conversation, the current matters of international cooperation in energy resources transportation and digital security were covered.

The parties discussed the CPC financial performance in the Republic of Kazakhstan. On 10 June 2021, in accordance with the Resolution of the Board of Directors, the Caspian Pipeline Consortium made the first tranche of dividends payment to the Company’s Shareholders for the first time in its history. In total, in accordance with the results of 2021, CPC paid over 252 million US Dollars to the Republic of Kazakhstan Shareholders. In June-July 2022, CPC will pay approximately 586 million US Dollars to its Shareholders.

It was also noted that in 2021 CPC-K paid taxes of almost 86 million US Dollars to Kazakhstan’s budget.

Since 2000, on a permanent basis, CPC has been implementing charity programs and projects in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Over that time, over 25 million US Dollars have been invested in the social infrastructure.

The CPC Pipeline System is one of CIS largest energy investment projects that involves foreign capital. The length of the Tengiz – Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km. This route moves over two thirds of all Kazakhstan export oil along with crude from Russian fields including those in the Caspian region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM), allowing tankers to be loaded safely at significant distance offshore, including in poor weather conditions

N.V. - 2%, and Oryx Caspian Pipeline LLC – 1.75%.
