Start of the second round of remote auditions of international contest “CPC for Talented Children 2022”

20220705.jpgAcceptance of applications as part of the second round of “CPC for Talented Children” contest completed on July 1, 2022, and jury has already started to assess the creative works. As a reminder, the Competition has three stages this year: a two-round remote audition, a regional face-to-face contest and a uniting cultural forum.

2135 applications from regions of CPC presence were received for the second round of the first stage of the contest. These are first round participants that received the score of 7 to 10 from the jury. The second round will define the participants of regional stages of the contest, for whom face-to-face master classes will be arranged and who will perform in person at regional gala concerts.

Submitted for the second round were 441 applications in Astrakhan Oblast, 193 applications in the Republic of Kalmykia, 485 applications in Stavropol Krai, 697 applications in Krasnodar Krai, 319 applications in Novorossiysk.

Instrumental performance leads among the contest nominations in terms of submitted applications: 904. “Singing” nomination has 608 applications, “Variety and modern choreography” - 196 applications, “Theater and declamation” - 338 applications, “Choir” - 44 applications. Teachers presented 37 guidance papers. The number of social videos out of the whole number is 8.

Soloists submitted the largest number of applications - 1706. Small performing groups submitted 91 applications, larger groups submitted 338 applications.

Second round winners will be announced at in-person regional stages of the contest that will start in September. The third stage of contest “CPC to Talented Children 2022” will be represented by Uniting Cultural Forum to be held from 25 to 29 of November in Moscow.
