
On December 21, 2022 Caspian Pipeline Consortium
handed over equipment and vehicles to several institutions of Astrakhan city
and region. The Ceremony was attended by Mikhail Grishankov, Deputy General
Director, RF Government Relations, CPC-R, Denis Afanasiev, Deputy Chairman of
the Government of Astrakhan Region, Alexander Burkin, Health Minister etc.In total, Akeksandro-Mariinsky Regional Crinical
Hospital and Selischeva Children’s Regional Clinical Hospital received four
steam and low-temperature plazma sterilizers. This medical equipment ensures
sterilization of endoscopic instruments used in laparoscopic, thoracoscopic and
other surgery types, including those involved in high-tech medical assistance.
Medium-sized school bus MAZ-257S40 was purchased
for handball training center Zarya Kaspiya. The institution is implementing a
large-scale regional project “Handball for schools”, and it requires vehicles
in order to ensure centralized transportation for kids.
Municipal State-Funded Institution “Narimanov
District Unified Emergency Team” received a tanker truck. This organization
regularly trucks water to nine settlements located in the area of western ilmen
lakes of Volga Delta bordering on the steppe, which experience quality drinking
water shortages.
CPC allocated almost 42 Million Rubles for the
purchase of the said equipment and machinery, including road vehicles.

CPC Pipeline
System is one of the major investment projects with foreign capital in energy
sector in the CIS. The length of the Tengiz – Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511
km. This route transports over two-thirds of all Kazakhstan export crude, as
well as crude from Russian oil fields, including those in the Caspian Region.
CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that
allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore, also amid poor
weather conditions.
