20250528.jpgAnnual General Meetings of CPC-R and CPC-K shareholders took place on May 27-28, 2025 in Astana.

General Director N. Gorban called the meeting to order and reported on the Company’s business status and performance in occupational health, safety and environmental protection. In Q1 2025, almost 3.5 million man-hours were worked without injuries and incidents, including contractors, and the motor vehicles ran about 8.2 million km without MVAs.

January through May 23, 2025, more than 28 million tons of oil were lifted from the CPC Marine Terminal, which is 1.4 million tons higher year-on-year.

Recovery work was successfully completed at PS Kropotkin. The station was commissioned starting May 23, 2025. A total of 87 calendar days was spent on recovery activities. The Shareholders appreciated the CPC team’s efforts in providing prompt and high quality repairs of a significant oil transportation facility.

The pipeline system equipment operating factor was 0.993 from January through April, 2025. Since the beginning of 2025, more than 10,000 scheduled maintenance activities were delivered at the line pipe and the PSs. More than half of the defects identified by the in-line inspection were repaired in the first four months of the year.

At the CPC Marine Terminal, preparation to replacement of two single point moorings is ongoing. The manufacturing plant fabricated main bearings and swivel bearings, as well as all 12 caisson anchors. Shipment to Novorossiysk is expected in 2025.

This year, about 47 subsea and floating hoses will be replaced at all three single point moorings as part of scheduled preventive repairs. SPMs will be decommissioned successively to perform the above activities.

As part of the program for construction of external power supply facilities and replacement of gas turbine-driven mainline pump units with electric motor-driven mainline pump units, a successful testing of a prototype was delivered.

Meeting participants discussed reports on the delivery status of the CPC Pipeline System Reliability improvement program, and implementation of Long-Term Investment Projects.

The Shareholders also reviewed and approved the Annual financial statements and profit distribution of CPC-R and CPC-K for 2024, and elected memberships of the Boards of Directors.

CPC Pipeline System is one of the major projects in energy sector in the CIS. The length of the Tengiz – Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km. This route transports over two-thirds of all Kazakhstan export oil, and crude from Russian oil fields, including those in the Caspian Region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore.
