CPC guarantees efficient and environmentally safe movement of crude oil

The Project is designed to increase the trunk pipeline capacity

Meeting between CPC management and regional teams

ЦР1.jpgOn October 27-29, 2025, General Director Nikolay Gorban held meetings with teams from the Central and Western Regions, as well as the Consortium's Marine Terminal, in Astrakhan, Krasnodar, and Novorossiysk. The head of the international company presented departmental and corporate awards to the most distinguished employees.
One of the reasons for the celebration was the transportation of the “jubilee” one billionth ton through the Tengiz-Novorossiysk pipeline system. It was noted that the number of tankers received at the Marine Terminal exceeded 9,334.
In communicating with the teams, the focus was made on improving Safe Work Culture practices and increasing involvement in it, not only among CPC-R employees, but also among contractors. Aspects of observation card analysis, discussion of hazardous situations, incidents and lessons learned, and honest dialogue were touched upon.ЦР2.jpg

In 2024, the Central Region team surpassed 45.6 million man-hours without injuries or incidents and 23.4 million km without MVAs. Among the most important tasks to be carried out in 2025 are: connecting the newly constructed section of the pipeline near the Astrakhan pump station, dismantling electrical insulation inserts at A-PS-4A, PS-2, PS-3, and other work.

The CPC Central Region covers the company's facilities located in the Astrakhan Oblast and the Republic of Kalmykia. Almost 300 km of the CPC's main oil pipeline runs through the Astrakhan Oblast, with pressure in the system maintained by three oil pump stations, the largest of which is the Astrakhan pump station. More than 200 km of pipeline are laid in Kalmykia, and three pump stations are in operation: Komsomolsk, PS-2, and PS-3.

The Western Region team of the Consortium operates industrial facilities located in the Stavropol and Krasnodar Krais. Approximately 250 km of the oil pipeline runs through the Stavropol Krai, where the PS-4 and PS-5 oil pump stations operate. The final 300-kilometer segment of the oil pipeline runs through the Krasnodar Krai. The largest CPC pump station, Kropotkin, as well as pump stations 7 and 8, are located here.
The most important production plans for 2025 include the commissioning of variable frequency converters for electric motors of mainline pump units at PS-5, overhaul of turbine units with replacement of gas turbine rotors, and upgrade of the firefighting system on two mainline pump units and two turbogenerators at the Kropotkin pump station.ЗР2.jpg

In 2025, the evacuation system at the Marine Terminal Shore Facility is undergoing technical re-equipment. At the Tank Farm, bottom sediments are being washed out, two 100,000 m3 oil storage tanks are being cleaned, degassed, and fully inspected, and other work is in progress.

CPC Pipeline System is one of the largest investment projects in the energy sector with participation of foreign capital on the CIS territory. Length of the Tengiz–Novorossiysk Pipeline is 1,511 km. Over two thirds of all Kazakhstan export crude, as well as crude from Russian oil fields, including those in the Caspian Region, are transported by this route. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore, also amid poor weather conditions.
