Winners of the "Best Shift" competition awarded at the CPC Marine Terminal

1.jpgOn December 18, 2025, the Best Shift of the CPC Marine Terminal was awarded at the Kuban Recreation Center in Novorossiysk.  As an initiative of the Regional Operations Division the "Best Shift" competition started in 2023 and was held for the third time. This year, marked by the shipment of one billion tons of crude oil since the start of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium operations, the award ceremony was attended by the company employees and veterans, including also their family members.
 Andrey Brekhov's Best Shift in 2025 was awarded a challenge banner and commemorative pennants. Under this competition the specialists were evaluated according to criteria such as the number of initiated technical measures to improve ergonomics; the number of timely implemented measures taken to address inconsistencies in the occupational safety, industrial safety and environmental protection; the number of initiative proposals in the field of HSE (in the observation card system); the number of completed observation cards; the number of implemented leadership practices.
The winning team included PS operators Dmitry Dmitriev and Alexey Machulin, process installation operators Anton Lyashko and Sergey Muravkin, instrumentation and control engineer Kirill Kharlamov, instrumentation and control technicians Pavel Mezentsev and Vyacheslav Terentyev, electrical installation maintenance electricians Andrey Nevroda, Sergey Romanov and Alexander Sidorevich.2.jpg

PS operator Ibrahim Osmanov became the winner in the nominations "Sample: One for All" and "Inspirer: Motivator” in the individual competition. Konstantin Chernikov, an electrician for electrical installation maintenance, shared the victory in the Inspirer: Motivator nomination with him.  The winners in the "Landmark: Practical Approach" nomination were Anton Lyashko, operator of process installations, and Sergey Romanov, electrician for electrical installation maintenance. Winners of the “Driver: Idea Generator” nomination were Andrey Babaevsky, PS operator, Oleg Burkin, electrician for electrical installation maintenance, and Ivan Sergeev, operator of process installations.
3.jpg- The strategic goal of the Best Shift competition is to identify and support leaders who will eventually become a valuable human resource for CPC in promoting ideas and solutions to improve the industrial safety management system, Alexey Pelipenko, Regional Division Head, Operations, said at the award ceremony. - Judging by the competition results the colleagues are proactive not only in improving ergonomics in the workplace, but also know how to work with people, constructively correcting cases of unsafe actions and motivating employees to be aware of the personal and collective safety. 
Elena Kuchera, Head of the Glebovsky Rural District of the Novorossiysk Municipality, and Igor Vasiliev, Civil Protection Divison Head of the Novorossiysk Municipality, congratulated the winners of the competition. Awards were also given to 28 employees of the Marine Terminal on the occasion of pumping the billionth ton of crude oil as part of the event. 54 MT employees were awarded commemorative badges "For Length of Service".

The CPC pipeline system is one of the largest projects in the energy sector in the CIS. Length of the Tengiz–Novorossiysk Pipeline is 1,511 km. This route transports over two thirds of all Kazakhstan export crude, as well as crude from Russian oil fields, including those in the Caspian Region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPMs) that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore.
