33.jpgOn February 11, 2026, a hybrid-format meeting of the International Association of Oil Transporters (IAOT) discussion platform took place in Baku to review and exchange experience in Safe Work Culture development. The event was attended by occupational and industrial safety managers of seven oil pipeline operators from Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Hungary and PRC: CPC-R, Transneft, KazTransOil, Gomeltransneft Druzhba, MOL, SOCAR, AsiaTransGas and representatives of the CPC Shareholders.
The participants exchanged experience, got acquainted with the achievements in accident-free operations, best practices in diagnostics and development of Safe Work Culture.
Besides, the attendees discussed the results of the visit to Atyrau PS by representatives of the CPC Shareholders - Chevron, Eni and ExxonMobil. The delegation toured the CPC-K PS facilities and was familiarized with the HSE technologies used and actions taken by the Consortium, as well as close interaction on these issues with all contractors. Currently, CPC has adopted and implements consistently the Strategic HSE Plan for 2025-2027.
- Through interaction and exchange of visits to industrial facilities we see clearly that, despite different geography, specifics of national legislations and history of companies, our views of and approaches to organization of operations have much in common. This is not a competition of performance indicators. This is a joint development of an efficient approach for all IAOT members, - noted the CPC General Director Nikolay Gorban in his speech at the discussion platform.444.jpg

Just to remind, the IAOT was established in 2013 as an international non-profit, non-governmental organization. The IAOT key tasks include comprehensive assistance in supporting continuous supplies of crude oil and oil products to the world energy markets and in developing interrelations among the Association participants at a national, regional and international levels. CPC upgraded its IAOT status from an observer to a full member in April 2024. The IAOT discussion platform to review and exchange HSE experience was set up by the decision of the 25th meeting of the International Association in June 2025 in Sochi.
