CPC Marine Terminal Comes Under Terrorist Attack

On 19 July 2026, during loading operations at the single point moorings SPM-1 and SPM-2, two sea tankers, ASIA, crude oil owned by Tengizchevroil (Chevron), and NISSOS IOS, crude oil owned by Kashagan B.V. and Maten (KazMunayGaz), came under a targeted terrorist attack with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

Scope of Work During Scheduled Shutdown

On July 8, 2026 following a 12 hour scheduled shutdown, Tengiz-Novorossiysk crude oil pipeline operated by Caspian Pipeline Consortium resumed the work.
